My Story

Following on from our fundraiser last year me, Paul Burns, Lucy Cox and Stu Manley are taking on an even bigger challenge to climb the Lakeland 3000's. Over two days we will be climbing the four biggest peaks in England all over 3000 ft Skiddaw, Helvellyn, Scafell, and Scafell Pike. Considering my fear of heights and Paul's habit of breaking bones up mountains it's an ambitious target to say the least!

The Good Shepherd has seen an increase in people accessing our services and we worked with over a thousand people in 2022. Due to the cost of living crisis even more people are struggling so we're raising funds for the "Miles into Meals" campaign and our target is £1500 towards the dining service and emergency food parcels.

We appreciate any support we receive and the funds will be used to support some of the most disadvantaged people in our community so if you are able to sponsor us on our journey then please donate and help us reach the target.
